Forgiven before Die

I was in a mass in Cathedral St. Mary last week. In his speech, the father said some touching words.

In a trip inside a plane, there was a technical error and the flight attendant informed that the plane had been going down. Automatically all of the passengers got mad and worried.

A man suddenly stood up and said, “Let’s pray to Santa Rita for our safe,” They all prayed and the plane still had been goin down about 1 km..

A woman stood up and said, “Let’s pray to Santo Titus for our safe,” They all prayed and the plane still had been goin down about 1 km..

And then, some people stood up and asked them the same thing but with different Saints. They all prayed and the plane still had been goin down about 1 km..

Suddenly, a man who sat on back stood up. He was a priest. She asked all of the passengers to follow his pray. All of them agreed and did that.

He prayed, “Our Father, thanks for our lives. If You want to take us, please take us, You have us. But before that, we just want to ask Your mercy. Forgive our sins. We regret that we used to betray Your kindness. You can punish us everything You want, so that we ask Your mercy.”

Unexpectedly, the plane fell down and crashed on the land.

Not happy ending, but make me think about that. It’s not about alive or die. Death comes rippin’ but you don’t have to be scare. You have to regret your sins and ask His mercy. Just it.
